SOAP Request

<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
               xmlns:tns="http://tempuri.org/">
  <soap:Body>
    <tns:DocumentAccessAllowed>
      <tns:AuthenticationTicket>3f2504e0-4f89-11d3-9a0c-0305e82c3301</tns:AuthenticationTicket>

      <tns:ActionId>23</tns:ActionId>
    </tns:DocumentAccessAllowed>
  </soap:Body>
</soap:Envelope>

Notes

  • Passing an invalid ActionId returns a success="false" response with a message listing the valid action IDs.
  • This API checks permissions for the calling user (identified by the authenticationTicket), not for an arbitrary user.
  • To check folder-level permissions, use FolderAccessAllowed.
